Lightweight Mat, Sewn Cover with Antislip Base Various sizes available - contact us for a price. Unlike the old-style heavy chipfoam Gym Mats, our Lightweight Modular Mats are easy to handle and store and are ideal for Gymnastics and Tumbling. The mat covering is made from tough, washable, tear resistant, flame retardant polyester reinforced PVC with an anti-slip base for improved grip on highly polished surfaces. The lightweight infill is of 33kg per cubic metre density, closed cell, cross-linked, expanded polyethylene providing excellent shock absorption. All our Panelite Gym Mats are available for individual use or with Velcro fastenings for make larger tumbling strips or complete areas. All seams are sewn together not glued which greatly improves the life of our Mats. Each bench leg is jointed into both the bench top and the bench foot. This method of construction, combined with a dovetailed balance rail, produces a bench with optimum structural stability and durability. Hardwood fillets in the bench top ends prevent splitting.
